at the zoo!

after much discussion in the classroom about the ethics of zoos - the good and the not-so-very-good about keeping animals in enclosed spaces - we experienced the joy of a journey to toronto to spend time with many pale and beautiful animals who (hopefully) enjoyed sharing their time with we, similarly pale and beautiful animals . . .
