my 24th year as a school teacher begins today . . .
and so,
i get to share a school year with 23 students and with it, the opportunity to offer them possibilities:
that school can be something other than what is prescribed…
that life itself can be something other than what is prescribed…
that they are unique individuals for a reason …
that there are riches just beneath the surface of their experiencing…
that work and fun can be synonyms . . .
