this beautiful film in which we meet peter - a hermit for thirty years - and ben - an orphaned lamb - won the best documentary award at this year's aspen shortsfest. the second documentary by british filmmaker pinny grylls, cofounder of invisible films, "peter and ben" allows us very briefly to share in the lives of a man and a lamb, both "black sheep" in their own way and both irrevocably drawn to each other.
(it takes some time to load up despite it being only ten minutes long but please be patient - it is worth the wait!)
