shinya fujiwara was born on march 4, 1944 in fukuoka japan. i first came across fujiwara’s work through his association with musician david sylvian for whom he created some cover art.
fujiwara’s home page is almost entirely scripted in japanese but worthy links include his “memento mori” which contains a selection of images from over the years, and the photo gallery link which takes you to a small but stunning gallery of images like these . . .
